Lots of red and black fruits, gunflint, violets, and candied orange notes emerge from the 2020 Clos De La Roche Grand Cru, another opulent, sexy 2020 showing the vintage’s riper profile. Medium to full-bodied, layered, and concentrated on the palate, it has a wealth of baby fat and will benefit from bottle age. I would give bottles 3-4 years and it should drink nicely over the following 15+.
