A strikingly spicy nose offers up notes of anise, hoisin and soy along with notes of Asian-style tea, violet and red and dark pinot fruit. There is a bit more mid-palate density to the seductive textured, velvety and mouthcoating flavors that possess better depth and persistent on the slightly firmer finale.

Winemaker notes

Nicole Lamarche Vosne-Romanee Les Suchots Premier Cru is matured in oak casks for between 16 and 20 months (between 60 and 100% new oak depending on the vintage). Bottled with no fining and no filtering. Enjoy this 100% Pinot Noir with all kinds of light meat (chicken, lamb, etc.) and cheeses; serve at 60°F.
