Château Pindefleurs 2020 is a refined, modern Saint‑Émilion Grand Cru showing ripe blackberries, plum and dark cherry layered with hints of licorice, cardamom and subtle vanilla‑oak spice. The palate is medium‑bodied but concentrated, with a juicy, fruit‑driven core, very supple, polished tannins and well‑integrated 13.5% alcohol that keeps everything fresh rather than heavy. A touch of graphite and chocolate from 50% new French oak adds depth without masking the bright fruit, leading to a long, elegant, terroir‑driven finish that feels more about finesse than power. It is already approachable with a short decant but has enough structure and acidity to age comfortably for close to a decade, making it an excellent value choice for right‑bank Bordeaux lovers who appreciate balance over sheer richness.
