By Wine Advocate in 2017:
The 2014 Grand Corbin Despagne was impressive from the barrel and that continues to be the case mow that this Saint Emilion is in bottle. The bouquet is quite sensual with layers of ripe redcurrant and raspberry fruit, well-integrated oak and just a hint of black truffle and smoke emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, well-judged acidity, harmonious and focused with bright black cherries and raspberry coulis on the vibrant and persistent finish. Bravo — this is an excellent Grand Corbin Despagne.
