Description
By Doctorwine in 2016 (DW98)
We began with this because it is considered the best rosé in the world. It is made mostly from Pinot Noir, with a small addition of Chardonnay, and because it is so exceptional it is not really an accurate measuring stick and so we drank it just to enjoy this taste sensation. It has a lunar color dominated by onion skin and a uniquely explosive bouquet, a merry-go-round of balsamic notes and oriental ones of Indian tea and wild berry gelatin. The mouthfeel is dense with a wonderful and inebriating stimulation of the taste buds. It is uniquely fresh and clean even after so many years in the bottle. Sumptuous.
