Description
By James Suckling in 2018 (JS95)
Impressive richness and clarity of red and dark berries. Lightly spiced-pastry aromas, too. The palate has a very crisp, polished and groomed tannin texture, as well as super fresh flavors that carry long. Great wine. Try from 2022.
By Jeannie Cho Lee in 2016 (JL91)
This is an attractive, well made Cantemerle that is quite impressive and probably the best the property has made since 2010. Medium bodied with lovely violet, cassis and cedar flavors with supple, firm tannins that provide the backbone. A wine that should age well over the coming decade.
By Wine Enthusiast in 2016 (WE94)
With structured tannins and red berry notes, this is already showing an elegant structure. It is the fruit that sings here, gently supported by the fine, dusty tannins.
